    1. The Delhi government has decided on an ambitious plan to transform its wholesale fruit and vegetable markets into ‘ e-mandis’ .As part of this project, all mandis will be connected with a centralised system with supplies being tracked on a real-time basis.
    2. Proposal to have a gravitational wave detector in India approved. The gravitational waves were detected by the Laser Interferometer Gravitational Wave Observatory (LIGO) — a system of detectors in Washington and Louisiana.The project is piloted by the Department of Atomic Energy and Department of Science and Technology.
