  1. Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) signed a roadmap agreement to allow inspectors broader access to nuclear sites. 
  2. No result in Nuclear talks between Iran and Major Powers : 
    • Iran will not stop its uranium enrichment programme, President Hassan Rowhani told the Parliament , even as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu urged world powers not to rush into signing a “dangerous” deal with Iran, and ease sanctions that have halted most oil exports and crippled the county’s economy while Tehran continued uranium enrichment  .
    • Iran’s highest enrichment level, at 20 per cent, is still below the more than 90 per cent needed for weapons-grade material, but experts say the process could be done at a rapid pace. Iran insists that its nuclear program is solely for peaceful purposes and that it has no plans to produce a nuclear weapon.
    • the Iranians welcomed Yukiya Amano, the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to Tehran and they had signed an agreement with the agency, which would, for the first time, allow its inspectors to visit Arak.

The Financing and Project Agreements for World Bank assistance (IDA assistance) of US $ 236 million for Tamil Nadu-Puducherry Coastal Disaster Risk Reduction Project (CDRRP) were signed between the Government of India, Government of Tamil Nadu and the Government of Puducherry and the World Bank.
    • The Project will have the following five components, viz. (i) Vulnerability Reduction; (ii) Sustainable Fisheries; (iii) Capacity building in Disaster Risk Management; (iv) Implementation Support; and (v) Contingency Emergency Response.
