Industrial Employment Standing Orders Act, 1946

Introduction : 

• To avoid friction between employers and the workmen employed in the company.
• Steps taken by the central government to enact Industrial employment (Standing Orders ) act 1946 with a view to protect workmen.

Objectives

• This order regulates the conditions of employement , grievances,misconduct etc of the workers employed.
